The first Universal Law, as stated by Edgar Cayce, the sleeping prophet is this: If a particular situation is in your life, it is there because you put it there. Your thoughts, words, and/or actions have created your life as it is at this moment in time and space. Do you like where you are? Do you enjoy the people and situations that surround you? If so, I congratulate you on a job well done. You have mastered your mind and consciously created your wonderful life.

If you do not like what your life is, you are likely in this situation because you have unconsciously accepted beliefs, generally belonging to, and taught to you by others. Your subconscious, your electromagnetic field, your aura, your quantum resonance field -whatever name you choose to use- is attracting experiences into your life based on the beliefs and/or warnings of others that likely were subconsciously accepted by you as fact, when you were small. You very likely accepted these beliefs as a child when people, who were trying to protect you, told you things like, “be careful” “don’t take unnecessary, foolhardy risks” “don’t talk to strangers” and the like.

These, and so many other warnings we hear as children, from well-meaning people with only our best interests at heart, are accepted as facts by our subconscious. That subconscious, which is unable to edit the information it hears, stores all these facts. In so doing, it creates within our aura a field that magnetizes to us whatever we believe to be true. What we believe is possible for ourselves, and what we think we want are too often very different.

If, from the information it has received, your mind has decided that the world is a very scary place full of unscrupulous people, for example, that is precisely what you will attract. If your information has been deciphered to mean that all men are untrustworthy lechers, or all women are gold diggers, that is what will be magnetized to you by the field that has been created. If you have accepted a belief that you’ll have to work hard to make ends meet financially, that is what you’ll create.

Do you really want to keep creating “hard luck” because somewhere along the line your subconscious accepted the belief that your life is always going to be “a hard row to hoe”? If you look carefully, you will see that all these negative perceptions are fear based. Even now we are still being programmed in fear. For example, we are being told constantly that dark skinned, turbaned people are to be feared as potential terrorists. That, is a very big, and in most cases, an incorrect assumption.

I believe that we come here to learn. I also believe that we have a choice as to how we learn. We can learn through pain or joy. If your life’s lessons are a long string of painful events, you’ve accepted fear-based perceptions. You can only attract to yourself what your beliefs have programmed into your quantum resonance field. We create our reality, not by what we think, but by what we believe. The underlying belief will always win and become manifest.

If your lessons are being learned through pain, isn’t it about time that you decided to question your beliefs and learn through joy? If what is in your mind is not empowering, it is a belief, most likely originally belonging to someone else. Those beliefs can be changed. You just have to recognize that you can change dis-empowering beliefs. If you change your mind, you change your beliefs and so your quantum resonance field is changed. Voila, you attract something new.

Look around you. Misery likes company. If you are not surrounded by helpful, empowering people, if you see only struggling individuals, you’re in the wrong ballpark. Those who have given up on their dreams and have given in to struggle cannot support you in attaining your dreams. Adjust your beliefs and move to a new playing field.

It is within your power to examine your beliefs, discard the fear and pain beliefs, and replace them with empowering ones.

Shelters from Truth

The masks and armor that people use to protect themselves from their ignorance is inhumane. Saved from Jesus baffles the majority of minds I ask, -Are you Saved from Jesus? Truth is blocked by the ego as if it were the linemen of the Green Bay Packers! The ego is generally the worlds greatest enemy! The ego thinks up infinite things to protect what it thinks of itself. The ego is small and even smaller if it appears as a big ego to protect the fear of truth, and EVEN IF the truths are false!!!

This thing called love of self is NOT a mirage or illusion and something to disregard while looping with information of comfort, even if it is an illusion. Life is a gift and, the greatest thank you is to give back by first opening up yourself to truths of living in higher consciousnesses that have been hidden from the masses to do list since the beginning of mankind.

Judgments directed at anyone, whether they are things that YOU need to look at or not, regardless of right or wrong, must always be remembered that they are the inner character of ONE, and apply for ALL. You are the one you judge and the one who judges you, IS YOU! The separation is of the mind more than not. Most have heart and brain blockages and all judgment further cements that unfortunate dilemma.

Armor to protect the ego is the armor that cheats the heart from all the beauties that seem to be unreachable. Armor from truth that is created by the ego needs to be let go of. The masks to protect the attachments to false notions of who one really is, is the mask that imprisons each. Inner communication is facilitated by dropping out of the mind into awareness and finding out who you really are.

Life is a moment slowed down for each to see it and do the best possible to encourage the godliness within. Throw the masks and armor away and be vulnerable to whatever comes and see it as a catalyst to learn the infinite truths.

Osho examines the nature of compassion from a radically different perspective. He points out that “passion” lies at the root of the word, and then proceeds to challenge assumptions about what compassion really is. He shows how the path to authentic compassion arises from within, beginning with a deep acceptance and love of oneself. Only then, says Osho, does compassion flower into a healing force, rooted in the unconditional acceptance of the other as he or she is.

From the works of Living Enlightened Master Paramahamsa Nithyananda. During his 32nd birthday celebrations on January 1, 2009, Swamiji delivered the following breakthrough message:
Living Enlightenment is living a conflict free life. Key ingredients to live enlightenment are: 1. Shakti (Energy) – Change Whatever You Can; 2. Buddhi (Intelligence) – Accept whatever that is not needed to be changed; 3. Yukthi (Clarity) – understanding that whatever you change, the whole world or what you call as reality is a constant and continuously changing dream, and 4. Bhakti (Devotion) A deep feeling of connection with the unchanging Energy or Master or Existence. When You Live all these dimensions experientially you are a Jivan Muktha or living enlightenment.

What is Deeksha (Oneness Blessing)oneness_speaks

Author: Bryan J. Johnson

Deeksha or oneness blessing is given in the spirit and compassion of the Deeksha giver. Deeksha in saskrit means initiation or benediction. Everything that the physical world embodies, when perceived by the five senses, testifies to the fact we are in constant state of separation with self. The physical world represents a sacrifice of oneness. Everything simply is what it is. There are so many different states of experiencing this as there are people.

Deeksha results in the activation of certain centers and de-activation of parts of the brain that brings about a shift in consciousness. A Deeksha blessing is the transfer of divine energy. The giver places there hands on the head of the recipient for about three minutes. There is a powerful transmission of divine energy to the receiver. This transmission accelerates the evolution of consciousness. This energy assists in creating access to the divine grace and an experience of oneness.

Deeksha does not belong to any spiritual or religious tradition and it seems to further your growth on whatever path you are on. When you become more present in the now, other practices such as prayer, meditation and yoga seem to become more enhanced. Deeksha removes stress, fear and separation.

It is the next great lesson of this world and spirituality. Deeksha is not new. Many ancient civilizations have known it as a basic component of human exsistence. Oneness is an inner perception that defies outer evidence. It is a gentle process of awakening and a deep experience of connection with ourselves and the world around us.

Human beings are the only form of life that has lost their attunement of these fields of life and unity. Deeksha allows us to re-attune to the higher consciousness and oneness with the divine. The experience you might feel are a tingling sensation in the head or energy flowing through the body. Sometimes it is strong, sometimes it is subtle and sometimes it can be delayed for some days later or you might not feel anything at all. Repeatedly receiving the blessing over a period of time leads to a direct awakening with the oneness that is all divine. Unity with God or your higher power if you prefer can be found through this process.

The oneness blessing is embracing in that each person experiences his or her own concepts of God, source or spirit. Whatever the experience it is definite that the process of awakening has begun. The process is a custom design for each person which will lead to a full awakening into oneness. It is normal for a person to feel inner peace, relaxation and well being. Some people report feeling lighter more empowered and refreshed. The blessing will bring about a complete shift in consciousness. People also report more harmony in relationships and more success in all areas of there life. When the senses are aligned with the divine grace the constant chatter of the mind slows and we open up to love, joy and peace of mind. Negativity in your life will begin to dissolve and deep emotional and physical healing will begin.

Awakening is a process in my experience is a necessity. To think we can do it without the help of an enlightened presence is long and hard journey we do not have to put ourselves through. Everyone should seek out a deeksha giver and let them help with the awakening process.

Inner Awareness by Lynn Claridge

We are all pelted with problems. Honestly, it should not even bother or even hinder us to becoming all we ought to be. Aspirations as kids should continue to live within us, even though it would be short-lived or as long as we could hold on to the dream. They say you cannot teach an old dog new tricks… or can you?

If you are like me, there are so many things you want to do with your life and so little time to do it, even going about your normal daily tasks during the day, seems to take forever. Therefore, I would ask you to delve deep inside yourself to find the answer.

Concentrate and take notice of your Inner Awareness

Inner-Awareness, what does it mean? Well, lets us look at each word individually.

“Inner” means inside, within the essence of our being on some spiritual level.

“Awareness” means one’s perception of reality from one plane or dimension to another.

Therefore, it could be said that “Inner-Awareness” is an attitude, an understanding of ones inner consciousness. An understanding of how one perceives themselves. A true understanding of how you really feel and why you act in the way you do.

Every person in this world has access to their inner awareness. We all live in a very materialistic world that is run by logic and scientific achievement and discovery. For something to be real, you must perceive it with your physical senses. If you’re inner awareness has not been developed and fine-tuned, then you may find many activities and energies around have no conscious awareness for you, so you will be out of touch with your inner self.

Your goal is to create a balance between the physical senses and the inner senses. There are two energies muscular and feminine. A masculine energy is more aggressive, a logical action to take, which results in a creation of something in the physical world. A feminine energy is a more flowing and spontaneous energy that relates more to the spiritual essence of our being. Inherent within all beings are both energies. When they work together, they create a harmonic balance.

A key element in developing your inner awareness’s is to trust an initial response, answer or insight you receive from yourself. For example, how many times have you had an intuitive insight to do something, which made no logical sense at all?

Most of us at sometime, have let our logical mind talk us out of things and then we could kick ourselves later because we missed an opportunity. If your mind is busy, and you are thinking about all the problems in your life and worrying about tomorrow, you could miss some important information or insights that will help you in life. Another thing you may possibly do is not trust your inner self when making a key decision in your life, but you will trust someone else to make the decision for you.

When you use your inner awareness, you receive guidance through your life, and who knows you best? You do, so why not take notice of it.

To receive inner guidance is to trust in yourself and to be open to the incredible and infinite possibilities of the adventures of life that present themselves to you in your lifetime.

I believe when you are spontaneous, you allow your inner awareness to come out and play, that is when you are truly channeling from within. You can tell when you are around a person in this state because they make you feel happy inside. In today’s society we are taught that it is not proper to be spontaneous, that you should act in a certain way and follow certain rules. I believe this subconscious programming is detrimental to your inner health. I feel you should go with your creative flow and be who you are and not worry if other people accept you or not. No matter how nice you try to be or courteous with others there will always be someone who will be disturbed about who you are, and the way you are behaving. This is not a bad thing in itself, because when you see something in another you do not like, that person is mirroring something inside of you that you wish to change.

So lighten up, try to be yourself. With so much happening around us there seems to be no room for even considering the possibility of a light at the end of the tunnel. We can still see it as something positive without undergoing so much scrutiny. Moreover, if it is a train at the end of the tunnel, take it for a ride, and see what makes the world go round!

If history has taught us one thing, it is the life that we have gone through. There’s always the easy way and the right way when it comes to deciding what goes with which shoes, or purse, shirt and whatnot. It doesn’t take a genius to see yourself as someone unique, or else we’ll all be equally the same in everything we do. Variety brings in very interesting and exciting questions to be experimented with. Have you, or is there something more you want to do? Discontentment in every aspect can be dangerous in large doses, but in small amounts you will be able to see and do stuff you could never imagine doing.

What motivates you? It’s an answer you have to find out for yourself. There are so many things that can make everyone happy, but to choose one of the many may be the hardest part. It’s not as if you can’t have one serving of your favorite food in a buffet and that’s it. Just try it piece by piece.
So, what really makes you tick?

You can be just about anything you always wanted to be, but to realize that attaining something that may seem very difficult is already giving up before you even start that journey. Always remember, that understand and believing in your own self-awareness is not just about the physical or philosophical change you have to undergo, but it’s something that you really want to believe in and trust.

Stop Thinking by Dave Dorgan

When taking a test, why do people always tell us to trust our first answer? Why do we remember some person’s name that was elusively on the tip of your tongue earlier, in the shower or before we drift off to sleep? Why do we have some our greatest creative ideas in the shower? When we are doing a crossword puzzle and get stuck on a word for an eternity, why do people suggest that we put it down for a while? And, why is it that when we pick up the puzzle a little later the letters practically jump into the boxes? The answer to all of these questions is “because that is when we are not thinking” or “we stopped thinking so much”.

The complete title of this piece should be “Stop Thinking and Just Know” or, even better – “Don’t Think with Your Brain, Know with Your Soul”. When you know that God is part of you – in your soul (what Hindus call Atma), you also know that God’s infinite knowledge – or if you prefer, the infinite knowledge of the Universe – is also in your soul. Those moments when you are in the shower or drifting of to sleep or even driving you car, are moments when you are knowing with your soul. You are not consciously trying to think and in doing so, you brain is left out of the process. The great Yoga master Swami Sivananda put it in a very simple yet profound way when he referred to this as “knowing without thinking”.

So, why is thinking and knowing so different?

First, thinking with your brain is not a bad thing. In our daily lives, we use our brains all of the time to do analytical thinking, to store and recall names and dates, remember the size of our paycheck, to do basic problem solving, and to do our taxes – ugggh. The soul, on the other hand, provides answers to things that we may not have stored in our brains – no matter how many analytical processes we draw on to attempt to connect the dots. The soul provides us with solutions that we never even would have considered with our brains. The soul gives us creative ideas and what we call “thinking outside of the box”. It is an always open door to God’s infinite knowledge, which is really in our soul. The soul points out that we already had the answer, but our brains stomped right on it by over-analyzing. When just one strand of lights goes out on the Christmas tree, the brain tells us to run to the hardware store and buy some more, but the soul tells us how to fix the problem. If we just ask for the solution (true story).

Second, you need to realize that knowing with your soul is instantaneous and thinking with your brain takes time. Think of your brain as a computer that you ask a question and it does some processing – some analysis – and gives you an answer. No matter how powerful the computer is, there is still some amount of time elapsing between asking the question and having the answer. That wee bit of time, now matter how brief, is the problem. Even one millisecond allows the destructive ego to slip in and muddy the waters with its various forms of doubt, second guessing, and pride. Some people like to distill this phenomenon down to cutesy clichés like “paralysis by analysis”, but these phrases do nothing to explain why this occurs.

Our souls always have – or have access to – the infinite knowledge of God, the universe. When we come back into the physical world as babes, our souls have all of that knowledge and our brains are virtually empty except for our basic survival instincts. This explains the sometimes extraordinary spiritual abilities of children – even the very young. There is lots of knowing and very little thinking. Our brains start out as empty sponges and as we grow, our brain fills with all kinds of knowledge, experiences, societal values and dogmas. As our brain fills with these things, the ego also grows. Gradually, our ego draws us to the thinking side – often destructive thinking – and we are drawn away from knowing/listening to our souls.

I have been a computer programmer and system designer for over 20 years and know all too well that the best designs or a fix to a nagging bug come to me in the shower or when throwing a ball around for 15 minutes at work.

Throughout time, many great artists have known the powerful role that knowing plays in the creative process.  It has been described in many ways, the inner voice, listening to God, and divine inspiration, to name but a few. And, in the end, it all distills down to the idea of knowing/listening to the soul.

“When I am traveling in a carriage, or walking after a good meal, or during the night when I cannot sleep; it is on such occasions that ideas flow best and most abundantly.” – Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

The great jazz guitarist, Pat Martino, on the topic of improvisation, once said, “Try to learn everything you can, and then forget it.” i.e. stop thinking with your brain. Great improvisation is instantaneous – from the soul. Sometimes you might just be noodling around on an instrument. You look up unknown minutes later not even remembering what you just played and your friend is just staring at you. One of you eventually says what the other one is thinking, “Where the hell did that come from?” That, my friends, is a beautiful moment!

When things in your day are clicking or flowing, when there are truly no problems and just solutions, you are knowing with your soul. This is sometimes referred to as “just being” or the “I AM”. God has already provided the answers for you. You don’t “access” them. They are already there – you just have to know it. When you are consciously aware of this, you can readily apply it to any aspect of your life. More and more it will just happen, and you will be aware of it. You will observe it happening. You will become fearless, because you will know that all of the answers are inside of you.

In your spiritual endeavors, be willing to try things you’ve never done before. You grow by taking chances and not worrying about making mistakes, the outcome, or what others will think. Whether it be astral projection, healing, talking to Gautama or God or and Archangel (true stories), just know that there are no right or wrong ways. Any real truth or skill can be distilled down to the exquisitely simple.

The trick is then to take the concept of knowing from the conceptual to the experiential. To listen to what is inside of you or to believe that you have it all inside of you is daunting for most people. Our egos, thinking, put the doubt, second guessing, etc… inside of us. We find it easier to look outside for answers.

Here is one little exercise to use to nudge you in the right direction. It will help you get comfortable with knowing that you have access to the infinite knowledge of God/the universe. Over time you will start to realize that it is all inside of you. When you have a question or problem, visualize the question being written down on a fine piece of square parchment. Say the question in your mind. See the four corners of the parchment folded in to meet in the middle and then sealed with red wax and a stamp. Now visualize the sealed question being sent floating off into the universe. Then forget about it – let it go from you mind so that you are not thinking about it. At some point – often very quickly – an answer will come to you in some form. It may just pop into your head, or be triggered by a song, a TV add, or something someone says. Don’t be looking for it to come, but when it does, you’ll say “Ohhh.” Don’t second guess it or doubt it. Go with it and thank God/the universe for the blessing i.e. express gratitude. Practice this often and over time you will transition to just asking the question in your head without the need of the visualization. You will know that the answer is inside of you.

The reality is that you don’t need me or anyone else to help or tell you how to do this. Be your own guru. Just know that you are already doing it. So start thinking less often and start knowing more often.

Dave has been studying and practicing numerous forms of spirtuality and new age disciplines for over 20 years.  His first book, Time and Space Stand Still, will be published in February of 2008 by Chalani Resources.  Dave’s spiritual blog is Be the Guru.

Starting The Path To A Spiritual Journey by Lynn Claridge

A spiritual path is easy to miss because it is subtle. It is a path to your higher consciousness with fuller awareness. Upon entering the spiritual path, you will begin to change your perceptions and see new interpretations of reality. You will learn to heal yourself from the conditioning of childhood, societal mores and traditional thinking. You move from being unaware to becoming an empowered, conscious, loving, holistic, and fully functioning person. You will start to understand the mysteries of life.

As your awareness expands, you will realize there is only one of you. Who you are expands to include all the parts of your life. Knowing and feeling connected to this full-self unfolds in stages, as there are degrees of truth along the way to full truth. It is a continual process of exploring yourself and others, participating in relationships and groups, and learning from experiences of your inner-self.

How do you start your spiritual journey?

Often it begins with a personal crisis that starts an inner desire to look beneath the surface of what is happening to find richer meaning and purpose.

These questions could include such things as.

Who am I outside of my roles and conditioning?

Why am I here?

What would give my life more meaning and purpose?

Why do these things happen to me?

How can I help myself?

Why do I worry about what my family and friends think?

How can I heal my dysfunctional thoughts, feelings and behaviors?

How can I change my life so that I like my life?”

These questions and many others need answering; this will then cause you to move into a deeper quest for life. Life is always answering your inner questions by bringing you answers and new experiences. These experiences may come to you through books or religious teachings, or by listening and learning as you grow. However, you have to be ready to see, feel and hear the insights.

Sometimes it is not even a conscious thought that begins the journey. It might be that you are having problems or you have a habit that needs changing, or a relationship that is not working. At what point would you want to enter a therapy group, a counseling group, or a family therapy group to help improve your situation. Many of these types of groups can open the doors to a deeper search.

You may respond because you have had too much pain and suffering after a catastrophic event like an illness, divorce, loss of a job or a death of a family member. These experiences force you often to look for answers. This is because you become confused, hurt or angry. When you are in this frame of mind, you can open yourself to new ideas.

Another way you can move on to a spiritual path is if you have a partner who is willing to join you on your journey, especially if they are constantly changing and growing, helping to introduce new ideas and catalyzing the relationship. When you stay in a relationship, you can evolve together.

When you decide to make you journey, some mystical experiences can bring you change that will last forever. This is an expansion of consciousness, greater than everyday life. This is where you can lift the veil of non-understanding. Once you have made the changes you will make an instant change in your life. You will release all your fears and start to understand that love is the underlying principal of the universe. You can change you life forever.

The circle and the spiral of life.

Let us now look at two different people. One is living a normal life and one is starting their spiritual journey. For clarity let us call her Susan and let us say that Susan lives her life in a line that goes from point A to point B, eventually this makes a circle from birth to death. Susan is born into a family that would expect her to follow the family’s example. This includes family values and beliefs that have been handed down from one generation to the next. Therefore, Susan stays within the comfort of her conditioning.

If Susan decides to move out from the family footsteps, it would probably be in reaction to extreme situations. Susan jumps to another point and has the tendency to over-correct and therefore, act out the opposite side of the coin. Susan may look like she is thinking for herself and acting differently; however, she is still dealing with the same coin. Susan will still condition and will still stay within the boundaries of the family circle.

Time will tell if Susan returns to the traditions or truly moves into higher consciousness. I would like to point out at this point that many who find their spiritual path do go back to traditional ways; they just experience it with a newer and deeper understanding.

So now, let us look at person number two, we will call this person Peter. Peter looks at the boundaries in the circle and is not satisfied, wanting more from his life than following the line from point A to point B. This calls forth a deeper process in a number of ways (some that we mentioned earlier) so, Peter moves out of the circle. The circle now becomes a new configuration, a spiral. The circle represents a closed system, repeating what has been modeled and taught. It is very difficult for new information to get into this system. When Peter enters the spiral, he makes a shift upwards and moves into a new dimension, an open system, which is full of information not known within the circle.

Another way to explain this is to use a mountain. Susan lives at the bottom of the mountain and everything is familiar. Is this where you are? If you are, then you may have learned for example, that you are an extension of your parents or family. You need to conform to the roles and rules of these groups. You may respond to them telling you what to do. However, you should remember your body is of physical beauty, strength and youth, and this is what counts in your life.

Alternatively, you may believe that your possessions make you who you are. Others around you may think that it is great that you have a high IQ and you did well at school. You have plenty of money and you seem to have it all. That is all very well except that true happiness and having a connection to your inner self, are missing.

If this makes you think about what your role is, and what is missing in your life, that is a good thing. This is the point that you may actually move away from the bottom of the mountain onto the spiral where you will find your true self. Are you ready to walk up the mountain and find your hidden path to your higher realizations? It may be uncomfortable at first and your rational mind might try to talk you into going back down the mountain for safety and familiarity. As you climb, you will start to find others who want to share ideas with you and who can answer a few of your questions. You may find the life you really want.

You now have some ideas to ponder over. What journey do you want to take?

We have looked at the difference between Susan who is not willing to walk away from the circle to start her journey; therefore, she will stay this way forever. We have also looked at Peter, who wants to change his circle; therefore, he will have a happier and fuller life.

Many experiences and thinking patterns can initiate your spiritual journey. The decision is up to you.

Do you want a higher awareness or do you want to live a life where you are blind to what you can really become?
